"Gosh, Ralph, isn't it just so great that they've finally opened the new highway interchange?" Wanda asked as they made their way up the entrance ramp, her voice bubbling over with enthusiasm. "We can go anywhere in the state without dealing with a million stop signs, traffic lights, or speed bumps on some winding side road."

"I suppose," Ralph replied, tapping his fingers impatiently on the steering wheel as traffic slowed.

"Well—where would you like to go first?"

     "Home."

  1. I love this, it has such a truth to it. Where could I go right now if I could go anywhere? I'd also choose home.

  2. This endeavor just proves the old saying of there's nothing new under the sun. It doesn't matter where you are or what roadway you're on you'll only be going to two places. You're either going away from home or back to it.

So everyone now come over to my endeavor for this week as I'd love to read your comments,
